Help send Bill to E3

May 7, 2009

1Up/UGO is holding a contest to send folks to E3. Right now there aren’t a lot of well written entries, but to be honest there are a few that are better than mine. I figure if I display a little bit of a following I might be able to win some sway with the judges. If you would be so kind, comment on the blog post I made here. Thanks dear readers.

Left 4 Dead Tweaker – now with a GUI (beta)

May 1, 2009

I’ve been teaching myself C#, my first application is an exe version of the Left 4 Dead tweaker. This should work for anyone, including people running Vista 64. Download it here.

System requirements:

.NET 3.5

Left 4 Dead

Planned features for next update:

  1. Adding/removing opening cinematics
  2. Non-Valve game menus.

I’m also looking into doing some support forĀ  G15 keyboards and/or LCDStudio enabled devices, and maybe some game overlays such as melee fatigue meters and infected recharge status.

Other information/warning: While this exe doesn’t modify anything that cannot be replaced by re-downloading your local game files, I am not responsible for any damage done to your computer. The program contains no viruses or spyware. There are no features of Left 4 Dead Tweaker that violate your agreement with Valve or VAC.
