Ubisoft is being protested. For America’s Army. The reports for this are all over the web; from what I’ve gathered about 2% of new recruits sign up because of the game. The reason for the protest is because it is illegal under international law to recruit people under 18 years old into the military. We’d better protest that game, not the hundreds of other methods the army/navy/airforce use to make kids think the armed services is tons of fun. I can’t see cigarette ads on television because of the children; why do I know the phrase “Accelerate your Life?”
Maybe I’m already on vacation, but I just don’t care about Thailand blocking the sales of GTA IV. When countries like Germany, Australia, and Brazil are banning games it’s hard for me to get upset when others follow suit.
There was an update to the 360 last night that did absolutely nothing of note. I guess it’s paving the way for the fall update.
